Public good professionals have low salaries, hard jobs and need housing in their communities.
Many teachers, food bank coordinators or child protective service workers make about 35k -50k a year and have some of the most challenging work and workloads. They have very little choice when it comes to affordable housing and frequently end up commuting to outer lying areas or live in unsafe or compromised living scenarios.
